I need SSH for Windows, has anyone got any advice on which package to go for?

I am told that PUTTY is pretty good and it's free. I havn't used it myself because I don't use MS Windows systems.

Thanks for the reply, I tried PUTTY, awsome. However when I use it to connect to Linux there is a problem with backspace delete. How do change this?

As I have said, I have never used Putty. It sounds like you need to use stty erase ^?

You can look at the settings with:

stty -a
