Wouldn't it be just to easy for it to be easy in XP. Lets hope this solves your problem. First of all it has to be done from the command line using net user, the rest is probably easier to show so read the attachment for the syntax and parameters. Good luck.

How do I get out of here? |
A possible "simple" answer:
set up a guest a/c & then enable or disable as required. Simple point & click ! Jolly Jack Tar 3E Mess HMS "GUZZ" |

The "net user" commands work OK .......
(except for a syntax problem - it won't take 5pm - it needs to be 05:00pm !!) But it does exactly as it says on the tin - restricts login times. If a user doesn't log out - he/she can remain logged in forever Is there anything that "chucks them off" at a certain time ?? Meat cleaver - enable/disable the account is fine, but this requires an intervention - I was looking for some automatic/scheduled action that did this. Jack |
