I've come across a problem and wonder if anyone else has seen this or knows a fix.
Data Protector 5.5 was upgraded to version 6 but i now have a media pool that i can't access and receive the error 12.1242.All other pools are fine.

unfortunately, I can't find a decode for 12.1242 at this time - but can you give some more details on the media pool type ? - changes between 5.5 & 6 included making free pools more specific to the media type - apart from that - there wasn't much that would have affected the established media pools.

Were any errors reported during the upgrade ?
There were significant changes to the IDB (Internal Database) between 5.5 & 6 - pool information is kept in the MMDB part of the IDB.
