Soon you will be eating fruit and food things that have an edible label printed on them by a laser printer.
The printer can write information such as date of picking,
country of origin, best before date and product look-up codes
directly onto the surface coating of the fruit. This removes the need
to apply labels to the fruit which have a tendency to fall off,
harbour bacterial growth and cause a choking hazard if consumed (may contain nuts).
This has a number of advantages over other fruit marking
technologies. The image is formed in the edible coating.

Hope they don't mix the toner cartriges up
