Hoping someone will know this one, printer asks to restart, after power cycle we are getting 51.23. Cannot find a service manual. From memory this is a laser problem but cannot be sure at the mo'

I do not have a manual to hand for this one, but if it follows the rest, it should be as follows:-

51 laser/scanner error
51.2 Beam detect error
51.23 Cyan laser unit

Keeps getting better this one, thanks oscar but i need to pick your brains again.

Replaced laser scanner assembly, no 51.23 error, instead i'm now getting 57.04

Anyone able to help?

(just done a google and it looks like a fan error, possibly missed a connector when i put it all back together)

Quick update, 57.04 is the lower left fan (forgot to reconnect to the rear controller board!! oops!)
Replacing the laser scanner assembly fixed the 51.23 error. Cheers for the pointer oscar!
