A potential problem and fix!
Recently, I had a problem where I was unable to access the Server Blade iLO's via the Onboard Administrator Service Port. After trying various iLO firmware, and OA firmware options, I arrived at the following conclusion: Irrespective of the OA firmware revision (V2.02 being the current), I was unable to access the Server Blade iLO if the firmware revision was 1.30 or later. I tested this theory with V1.29 and experienced no problem in accessing iLO on any of the Server Blades. |
