Hi there, I've been asked about the CPU pass numbers on a GS80. My customer has one here and one in Germany. The one in Germany was looked at by HP and they told my customer that all the pass numbers had to be the same.
I know we've had issues with mismatched pass numbers on the ES40's but was under the impression that it wasn't an issue on the GS80.
Does anyone know if it matters?

Hmmm!!! the passcount relates to the version of the chip, ie V1 V1.1 etc, usually a fix to a bug of some kind. However,if all the Cpus have been working before okwhy would the passcount matter? The version of the cpu module is a different matter because that relates to different MHz or cache size or other issues. We will ponder this question over a beer this evening and get back to you.
