Hello,
I am still running an AlphaServer GS160 with OpenVMS 8.2 - the system is no longer on contract for maintenance but I use it for testing and developement - config = 4 single processor QBB's and 1gb of memory in each QBB + one PCI drawer per QBB. There are 2 galaxy partitions - QBB 0 + 1 in one and QBB 2 + 3 in the other, booting into a cluster environment with single system disk. I have had to disable the memory in QBB 2 due to uncorrectable errors. WEBes 4.51 installed in both partitions. Obviously there are implications in this configuration with the memory in QBB 2 disabled - the webes process runs on the CPU in QBB 3 as this is where the memory is local to, and when I shut down and power off this CPU the partition bugchecks with WCCProxy as the current process. I think this may be down to the hard CPU affinity used by WEBes - has anyone else seen anything similar? all the best - Stu. |
