I have just been handed the IP accounting details for my companys main router's circuit to the WAN Cloud and weirdly enough the highest user of traffic was my HPSim server and a pc out on the WAN that runs IE as a browser and simply keeps a window open showing HPSim systems. Over 3.9 GB of traffic has been transmitted between these devices, even more than my Notes server and Blackberry server! Any idea why this could be the case?
Over what time period.. the CMS will be continually polling devices for info.. How much traffic depends on what is is doing.. how many managed servers there are ... is PMP, VPM and or other plugins installed. Don't forget VCRM and VCA.. are agents being updated....
