When backing up a VM with C: and D: drives on two different LUNs (on a SAN), How are the recommended settings for the VM's hardware?
SCSI controller and hdd? (Independent, persistent...)

Yes, its a windows VM, we're trying to backup to diskk first, later will go to tape.
The VM has C: and D: drives as two different luns on the SAN
ESX v3.0.2, Data Protector latest

Thanks for the reply

Hello CarlosR
I don't want you to think that we at Host are ignoring you. The problem is that this is outside our area of expertise. We have both experience in Dataprotector and Virtulisation but not running Dataprotector on a VM. If you do find out any useful information on this topic I am sure others would be interested.

Kind Regards
Brian

DataProtector is installed on a physical machine, not a virtual one.
From there we want to backup a VM which resides on an ESX 3.0.2, this VM has two drives each of them in a different LUN,
Our SAN is a DOTHILL
