Hi,
I attended a course earlier this year on the HP MSA 2000 and found it to be a little surprising to say the least! Is the G2 much different? Is the GUI now more "HP"? Obviously it now takes the same disks as the Proliant servers. Does this improve performance? What are the instructors feelings, particularly on the new G2 boxes? I've read quite a bit about the G1 boxes not having good performance? Is the performance much improved? What about the iSCSI version? Are the GUI's better now? Many thanks, Mark Munford |

Hi Mark,
Sorry for the later reply, at present we don't yet have the G2, its in the pipeline for the training but we are finding it difficult to get reliable info to answer your question. We have been informed that the interface has been radically overhauled and the performance has improved but until we get our hands on one we can only rely on the published data. Watch this space though... |
